About Tina

I am a retired Elementary School Counselor with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in School Counseling.  My goal is to build social emotional competencies at a young age.  This equips children with coping strategies and life skills for a successful future.

I began my counseling career twenty-two years ago at Bethany Community School (BCS).  BCS has students ranging from PreK through 6th grade.  I worked with these children in several capacities.  My role included social skills classroom lessons, small group/indivdual counseling, and behavioral support.   I am not only experienced working with children, but also with parent communication, community relationships, and administrative duties.

My husband and I have raised three successful children of our own, including a set of twins.  They have all found careers they enjoy.  I am proud to say we have a mechanical engineer, a veterinarian, and a high school science teacher.  Our family values education and has a love for learning.

Children have always been the focus in my life.  As I begin this chapter as a Home Daycare Provider, I look forward to utilizing my knowledge, skills, and love in this new career.
