Sunny Days Childcare Philosophy

I believe children thrive when they have a loving, safe environment to grow and develop.  Sunny Days provides a structured, educationally enriched program for your child.  He/she  will explore and learn, while being supported by a consistent caregiver, devoted to educating and raising children successfully.  Sunny Days is a nurturing, fun facility in which your child will happily spend his/her early years.

I provide a structured, yet flexible, routine offering learning opportunities in a variety of areas.  Children learn to share, socialize, and express themselves in a safe environment.  They are encouraged to explore and make choices. I have a  kind and loving demeanor and believe in positive reinforcement.

At Sunny Days, your child will thrive when presented with developmentally apporpriate learning and play. As infants, they come to trust and depend on our routines.  Consistency reassures babies that their world is secure and predictable.  Toddlers gain confidence and independence when allowed to explore.  I will encourage and support their growing autonomy.  Preschoolers are inspired to take initiative and make appropriate choices.  I will always enforce safe boundaries while modeling and reinforcing good decisions.
